"Cogentech" website

IFOM has created a core post-genomic technology facility to complement its research activities. This resource offers a wide range of services, such as nanotechnology, DNA sequencing, bioinformatics, robotics, proteomics, immunology, imaging, molecular pathology, model organisms and structural biology.

This core facility is managed and coordinated within the IFOM-IEO Campus by Cogentech (Consortium for Genomic Technologies), while the "Centre of Cellular and Ultrastructural Oncology" at the Department of Experimental Medicine (DiMeS), established by IFOM in 2003 at the University of Genoa, offers a state-of-the-art electron microscopy service for studying the subcellular localisation of proteins.
